- Scan

Action of checking and analysing in depth.
You can, for example, scan a system in order to detect the presence of a virus, spyware, etc.
- Server

A computer or program that provides computer services.
For example: a Web server provides a hosting service for HTML pages.
- Spam

Refers to unsolicited e-mails sent to a number of recipients who have not asked to receive this message.
Possible synonyms for spam are: unwanted mail, junk mail or junk e-mail.
- Spoofing

Usurping an identity.
For example: e-mail address spoofing consists of sending an e-mail in someone else's name.
Some viruses use this method to make the recipients think that the e-mail they have received comes from a friend.
- Spyware

Contraction of «spy» and «software».
It refers to spy software that you unwittingly download accidentally when surfing the Internet.
They collect and send information about the environment in which they are installed to third parties, without the user being aware of it.
